Roller coaster ride with eternity

Life really is a roller coaster. It's a short ride with a sudden abrupt halt! The beginning of the ride has laughter as the small ups and downs come along. Then the real challenge begins to escalate as you go higher. The laughter becomes uneasiness, then worry, then fear, and the grip on the safety bars becomes white-knuckled. Nearing the top, you know the next drop will literally take your breath away and slam into a jolting stop! Thoughts of, " I  hope this stays on track or I'm dead. I hope the safety bars keep me from flying off and plummeting to the ground! If I died here in the next few minutes, where would my soul be? "

We all think we have a long life ahead of us because that's how we are taught to believe. But life fades so swiftly, ask any elderly person. You really do wonder where the years went and how you became so wrinkled overnight. The Bible says that little known, little required! Well there you go, a pass into heaven. Just don't read the Bible and you're good to go. Perhaps just wait till you're on your deathbed to repent. Good try except you don't know when your last breath will be and you have a Bible. You have a plan but it has flaws. There is the internet, churches, and tv preachers. You can't say, I didn't know. Understanding the bible is sometimes a bit of a challenge, so I'm going to share some wonderful news. This is why God gave us preachers and teachers in an array of media formats.

So now what? How about waiting to your knocking on deaths door? It should only take 30 seconds to say “Lord forgive me of all my sins please. Please accept me into your life. I’m sorry I waited so long to come to you!” What if you only have 5 seconds of life left? The lord see’s your heart and knows if its from fear or conviction that you’re repenting. Stop playing Russian roulette with eternity! You won’t win!

What the Bible says happens the first 60 seconds after death.

A gift from Jesus, not opening it will be the biggest mistake of your life.
